Brand entity first mention
What this is
We check whether your brand name appears near the start of your main content. The brand name comes from your site name setting (og:site_name) or your company markup (Organization).
Why it matters
When AI engines quote content, they need to know who is speaking. Naming your brand early makes it easier for AI to link the page to you and mention you by name in answers.
What counts as passing
Passes when the brand name appears in the first 300 characters of the main content (ignoring menus, footer and sidebars); otherwise fails. Not scored if the site has neither a site name setting nor company markup. Note: company markup nested inside @graph isn't read yet.
