Question-style headings

AEOWeight 8.0% (This check's share of the AEO score)Score 100

What this is

We check whether your subheadings (H2, H3) are written as questions, such as "How do I choose coffee beans?" rather than "Choosing coffee beans".

Why it matters

When answering a user's question, AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews look first for sections where the heading is the question and the answer follows. A question heading tells the AI there is an answer right here.

What counts as passing

Passes when at least 2 H2/H3 headings are questions (starting with words like What, How, Why, When, Where, Which, or ending in a question mark); 1 is a partial pass; none fails.

Suggestion

Pro plan only

Phrase headings as questions

Only 2 question-style H2/H3 found. Reframe subheadings using 'How', 'What', 'Why', 'When', '為什麼', '如何', etc. so AI engines can pull Q&A pairs.
