Speakable schema

AEOWeight 5.0% (This check's share of the AEO score)Score 70

What this is

We look for Speakable markup, a setting that tells voice assistants which parts of the page are good to read aloud.

Why it matters

Small effect. Google currently uses this markup only for English-language news sites in the US, so most business sites will see no change from adding it.

What counts as passing

Passes when Speakable markup is found; without it the result is a partial pass, never a fail.

Add SpeakableSpecification

No speakable selectors detected. Adding schema.org SpeakableSpecification helps voice assistants extract the right passages.
