Tables are scannable

AEOWeight 5.0% (This check's share of the AEO score)Score 0

What this is

If the page has tables, we check whether they mark a header row and a label for each row, like a price table with "Plan, Price, Includes" across the top and the plan name in the first cell of each row.

Why it matters

With headers marked, AI engines can read each row as one complete record, so things like price comparisons get quoted correctly. Without them, the AI just sees a grid of loose cells.

What counts as passing

Passes when at least 1 table has a header row (thead) and the first cell of its first data row is a header cell (th); otherwise a partial pass. Not scored when the page has no tables.

Suggestion

Pro plan only

Mark tables for scanning

0/0 tables have <thead> with a <th> first column. Add semantic headers so AI engines can parse rows as records.
