robots.txt allows PerplexityBot

GEOWeight 5.0% (This check's share of the GEO score)Score 100

What this is

Whether your robots.txt (the file that tells crawlers which parts of the site they may visit) blocks PerplexityBot, the crawler the AI search engine Perplexity uses to index pages.

Why it matters

Perplexity shows source links with its answers. If PerplexityBot is blocked, your pages are much less likely to appear in those answers and sources.

What counts as passing

Passes unless robots.txt has a section for PerplexityBot with “Disallow: /” (block the whole site); not scored if the site has no robots.txt.
