Main content word count
SEOWeight 2.5% (This check's share of the SEO score)Score 100
What this is
How much text the page's main content has, not counting menus, footers and sidebars.
Why it matters
With very little text, Google and AI engines struggle to tell what questions the page answers, and there are fewer passages to quote. Word count isn't a ranking factor itself, but low counts usually mean thin content.
What counts as passing
Words are counted by splitting on spaces: 300 or more passes, 150–299 is a partial pass, under 150 fails. Chinese text without spaces counts as a single word per run, so Chinese pages score low.
