What this is
Whether the page shows a date, such as when an article was published or last updated.
Why it matters
For time-sensitive questions, AI engines and Google prefer to cite pages with a visible, recent date. Without one, neither readers nor machines can tell whether the information is out of date.
What counts as passing
Passes when the page has a date tag (time element), a published or modified date in its structured data, or a date like "2026-05" near a main heading; otherwise a partial pass.
